This project
aims to optimize the functionality of a normal desk by using a calculated
matrix with perforations and a set of components that adapt to it. In this way
it provides the user the freedom to create the necessary surface suitable to
the user’s needs. The proportions of the table with each component are
specifically designed to obtain a harmonized overall picture, whatever the
arrangement of components.
Natural material such as birch is used, sustained by a structural metallic framework which is discreetly supported underneath the main board to increase the rigidity of the entire table.
In short, this table can be defined as an intense exercise of minimalism and functionality, simple forms and without stridency.
