‘Waves’ is the latest series of vases produced by the innovative process of 3D printing quartz sand and designed by Francesc Gasch Studio
for Muuto.
This collection features elegant and playful forms reminiscent of extrusions, subtly paying tribute to the potential of advanced sustainable manufacturing processes.
The shapes of the vases are based on a simple yet profound gesture inspired by the seamless tangency between two curves and a surface, resulting in designs that are both dynamic and balanced. The fluidity of the forms captures movement frozen in time, evoking a sense of calm and natural rhythm akin to the gentle undulation of waves.
